Internships with WayUp

Search for internships through WayUp as well as full-time entry-level opportunities across many industries such as accounting, business, economics, finance, education, government, hospitality, HR, logistics, nursing, and tech. Additionally, you can filter your search by location, virtual, and for paid opportunities.

How can I be successful as an intern?

  • Set clear learning goals, objectives, and work expectations with your employer to ensure a successful internship experience for yourself, your employer, and your internship supervisor.
  • Identify opportunities to develop your skills and challenge yourself to engage in tasks that may be outside of your comfort zone that you can continue to learn.
  • Network with others in the industry to learn more about the organization and expand your professional network.
  • Be professional in your interactions with others as well as in your attire.
  • Treat your internship as though it is a real job.
  • Ask for feedback to continue to improve while also remaining open to feedback.
  • Be sure to ask questions if you need clarity.
  • Remain flexible and willing to support any requests from your internship supervisor.
  • Have a positive attitude.

For more resources and information about internships, be sure to check out WGU’s Internship & Experiential Learning Handbook.
