Micro-Internships with Parker Dewey 

WGU has partnered directly with Parker Dewey to offer micro-internships to help you gain experience and skills. Micro-internships offered through Parker Dewey are short-term, paid projects from a variety of companies including Fortune 100 and start-up companies across many industries. Unlike traditional internships, micro-internships through Parker Dewey are usually 10-40 hours in length and are offered virtually.

How to apply for a Parker Dewey micro-internship? 

  • Complete your profile on the WGU Parker Dewey website completely so that an employer can see all of your experience.  
  • Check out these tips to improve your application responses. 
  • Attend Parker Dewey’s monthly webinars to get your profile and application reviewed.  
  • Apply to many opportunities as students typically need to apply to 10-15 projects before getting selected. 
  • Sign up for the “Creating your Own Opportunities” webinar for tips on reaching out to companies where you’d like to complete a micro-internship. 
  • Check the website regularly as new projects are added daily and some projects are only listed for a few hours.
