Virtual Student Federal Service Internships
The Virtual Student Federal Service program offers virtual internship opportunities to support various federal agencies. U.S. citizen high school graduates, from rising college freshmen through graduate students, who are enrolled at least half-time (as defined by their college) during their application and participation are eligible. The time commitment for the internship is about 10 hours per week from September through May.
Application Highlights:
- Applications are due at the end of February
- Students can apply for up to 5 internships
- A maximum of 300 U.S. citizen college students may apply to each internship project
- Internship mentors select students in March and April
