This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience supporting real-world immigration legal services and to help prepare the next generation of legal professionals committed to public service and immigrant rights.

We work directly with individuals and families navigating complex immigration processes, offering compassionate and informed legal support.
Internship Overview
We are currently seeking interns who are passionate about immigration law and interested in gaining practical experience in a nonprofit legal setting. Interns will support our paralegal and legal team in various aspects of casework related to adjustment of status, naturalization, asylum, and family petitions.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Assisting with interviews and initial client screenings
- Supporting the preparation of immigration forms (I-130, I-485, I-589, N-400, etc.)
- Organizing supporting documents and case files
- Assisting with drafting affidavits, declarations, and correspondence
- Translating and interpreting (if bilingual)
- Participating in outreach events and legal workshops
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university paralegal or legal studies program.
- Must provide proof of enrollment in good standing.
- Must submit two letters of recommendation, preferably from current professors or program advisors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational ability and attention to detail
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred but not required.

Internship Structure
- Schedule: Flexible, based on academic credit requirements or availability (minimum of 10–15 hours/week recommended)

- Duration: Semester-based or as defined by academic program
- This is an unpaid internship, designed to meet academic credit or professional development goals.
