Resume Resources & Support
Your resume is a living document that you will update and share with employers and connections throughout your career. Our goal is to educate you on strategies and best practices in resume development, equipping you with these critical lifelong career skills.
We’ve created several resources to support you as you develop and refine your resume. Each step builds on the knowledge and skills acquired previously, so please follow this sequence in order:
1. Complete Developing an Effective Resume Course
This course teaches WGU learners resume basics and current industry best practices.
After completing this course, you can request a resume review by a career advisor. To do so, fill out the Resume Self-Review document found on the “Additional Resume Resources” page in the final module, and email it along with your resume to careers@wgu.edu. Requests without a completed self-review will be redirected to the tutorial.
